2026.21 - Voice logging & waist to height

Progress has learned to listen properly. You can now log anything you track without opening the app at all, so here are five things worth trying:

"Hey Siri, log my weight in Progress"
"Hey Siri, log my waist in Progress"
"Hey Siri, what's left to log in Progress?"
"Hey Siri, did I log today in Progress?"
"Hey Siri, show my goal summary in Progress"

It works for everything on your list, including the measurements you have named yourself, so "log my Mood in Progress" is just as valid. Siri asks for the number and you can answer however feels natural, whether that's "74", "165 pounds" or "17 and a half". Everything lands on today's entry, so a weigh in first thing and a tape measure in the evening sit together on one record rather than two. If you have already logged something today, Siri checks with you before replacing it.

Alongside the phrases, every action is in Spotlight and the Shortcuts app, Siri now answers to "body measurement tracker" as well as "Progress", the whole Siri experience speaks French, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, and on iOS 27 Siri understands which measurement you are looking at.

Waist to height ratio has joined BMI as a calculated field. Switch it on in What I Track, add your height, and My Progress gives it a card and a chart with the healthy range marked out. A waist under half your height is the number to aim for, and there is a link to the NHS guidance if you want to read more.

We also fixed weights in stones showing differently between My Progress and Results, sorted out custom measurements with no name turning up oddly in Spotlight, and tidied a few things behind the scenes.

Thanks as always,

Your Team @ Progress 💪
